Ao Guang, Ao Jun, Ao Qin, Nightingale: Speed increased during flight.Note that some robots may have more than one symbol, indicating different types of speed increase they are in the order of appearance, for example Phantom would first speed up (+) then be able to teleport (*).Īll speed values are max base speed displayed in-game, and does not include speed increased by Modules, Pilot skills, Boosters, and Khepri links.Įxamples of how abilities may affect robots' speed: & denotes ability to increase other robots' speed (exclusive to Khepri).^ + - * & Next to a Max Speed value: speed can be affected by abilities, respectively ] Missing Robot's denote removed content by Pixonic To reach a higher level, the player needs to gain experience. Most robots require the player to reach a certain level before the robots become available for purchase. The number and type of hardpoints cannot be changed. A piece of equipment can only be fitted to the corresponding hardpoint type. There are 3 types of hardpoints: light, medium, and heavy. Most of these robots have confirmed Factions, which are the group which these robots belong to (according to official lore).Įach robot has a fixed number and type of equipment hardpoints (a maximum of 4 total). Robots come in a multitude of configurations varying in size, shape, speed, durability, special active or built-in abilities, and more. Each robot belongs to one of three weight classes light, medium or heavy. Ultimately, War Robots is the kind of app that attracts mech lovers of all stripes, but only rewards the most dedicated ones.A robot is a large, armed, walking war machine, which players use to battle for dominance over a battlefield. Unfortunately, most app users are neither patient nor wealthy, and with the mountain of new apps coming out every day, they don't have to be. On the upside, the different maps are interesting, so if you have bags of patience (or bags of money), higher levels could eventually mean better combat. Unless you want to spend some cash to speed things up, you're in for a lot of dumb-enemy shooting. That's a downer, since Clans let you interact with other people, and the Workshop's where you get your hands on the really cool robots. The first fifteen/twenty levels count as the “beginner” part of the game, and must be cleared before Clan Wars and the Workshop unlock. They don't often use cover or shoot back, so unless the developers are trying to make beginners feel like unstoppable war machines, something's seriously wrong.Īs a result, working up to bigger and better robots is a chore. Still, that doesn't account for the way enemies stand and let themselves get shot. Most gamers know by now that virtual thumbsticks are simply a good means of raising your blood pressure. The app has nearly three million downloads, so why then do so many enemy teams play like, well - stupid robots? You could chalk that up to crummy controls. The most obvious issues for War Robots are the badly controlled AI for machines on the starter levels and a seeming lack of players. Though this game's been around for more than four years, the app version has significant issues that only the most dedicated robot fan will overlook. Everyone should be charged the same for items! In other words they charge everyone different for the same items based on how much money they think they can get out of you! Idk if that’s even legal but I’m posting this everywhere I can so people will be aware of their ripoff tactics. Other times I’ve seen items on "offers" at a certain price and if I don’t purchase them I’ll see the same items pop up again in a few days at a lower price. Same drone with the same chips, same robot and same weapons all went up in price within matter of minutes just because they realized I had money to spend. ![]() When I logged back in the whiteout drone was now $19.99 and the Mk2 behemoth with weapons was now $24.99. I made a purchase of $36 on other items and logged out. In the offer section there was a whiteout drone with 4 gold chips for $11.99 and also a MK2 Behemoth with 4 MK2 weapons for $19.99. I kinda already knew based on reviews from other people but today put the icing on the cake. Today I realized how much of a scamming app war robots is.
